All I can think about when I hear vikings is Eric Northman from True Blood :lovey:

You know his brother is in this show (the actor).

He's Floki I believe.

I was watching the show with a historian :)

He had some fun comments about the little details.
At that time, they should not have had the dragon head prow on the boat while it was in home waters because they believed it would offend the elves. The dragon prows were fitted for the ocean voyages in a ceremony on the shore.

Despite being HC I'm sure there are plenty of things they got wrong.
