Strictly play quality, but fun. Blank ponies from Hasbro

Saturday afternoon, playing with my daughter
I bought a few 'blank' ponies from Hasbro...completely missing that they were not G4.

Because 'our' collection is just about 100% play & together time with my DD4, I figured I would make a Big Mac from one. The scale is off, but at 4 she doesn't even notice, let alone mind. We cut down his legs, dyed his hair and painted him. He is pretty 'streaky'. We also took a really old McDonald's pony to make a Babs Seed. We styled, cut and dyed her hair and painted her tail. Lastly, we quickly added some cutie pox on a spare Apple Bloom. Not a lot of effort or time in any of them, but she will have fun

Thanks everyone. I am disappointed that the ponies are not G4. The hair takes dye amazingly well.

We are going to make a large King Sombra, as well...I figure he could be bigger, anyway.

I am really surprised at just how well that Mcdonalds pony works for the character of Babs. She was supposed to be more thick and stocky anyways. Nice job!
