USPS Online Postage--Inconvenient options
« on: March 15, 2013, 09:21:01 PM »
My mail carrier informed me today that USPS is not going to offer the lower cost option to print online. You can still get it, you just have to go to the Post Office. I guess there were too many people taking advantage of it by putting in the wrong weights and cheating the PO out of money.

So to print online, Priority will be the only option. Very inconvenient because as with everything, people have to be jerks!

You can probably still do it through Paypal. You have always been able to do it through paypal. You never could print first class online in the past. Im not sure what the cheapest option is called these days, I havent memorized the changes yet.. I just really think Paypal will still be a viable option.

I have not heard anything about this and there is nothing on their site about it. If it is true I am sure it is only going to apply to their website.  The thing is they only offer Priority and up on their site anyways. I don't believe you were ever able to print First Class or even the old Parcel Post.

Maniah I have no doubt in my mind that it will not apply to Paypal or even Ebay.  They make to much money off it.

Oh really! I wondered why it was not coming up when I wanted to mail that way. I do not like this! Why do people have to try to cheat out of just a few dollars........  :(
