thomasfox - are they a member or does someone know them?
« on: March 14, 2013, 04:51:05 PM »
Hi Everyone!

I had a transaction with them on ebay and the items were sent out in mid January (19th - i think).  I unfortunately missed paypal dispute by one day and i've sent them 2 messages now to see whether the parcel may have been returned etc as i've not received it yet.

They are still doing business but recently had a few where people have left negatives to say that items also weren't received and no response to messages.

Its not my first transaction with them and the previous 2 have gone swell, which is why i'm so bamboozled by this one :(

So if you know them or they are a member here, can you please let me know so i can try resolve it before leaving any negatives?

Thanks, Spinky :)

If you paid with a credit card you could call your card company and explain. I think with most credit cards (in the US or Canada at least- fair credit and billing act, you have to receive goods as promised) you have 90 days. I've known a couple people who got their money back in this way well after the paypal window had closed.

My sister recently won a pp dispute after the 45 days - and they also like you to make claims even if your window is up, as it helps them keep track of repeat offenders :)

I'm sorry you're having trouble I had some earlier transactiosn with them (i reckon when you had your positive transactiosn with them) and they werre super.  Given they were previously good to deal with I wonder if they're having some sort of RL issues or other problems?  Hope you can get it sorted!

I am not familiar with them

I would check with Paypal and see if they can do anything.  Considering you are only a little bit over your deadline.  It wouldn't hurt and if Kez said her sister was able to, it's worth a shot.

 Spinky, I hope you can get it sorted out. Keep us posted!

Agreed ^^ its definitely worth contacting paypal and trying to make a claim- especially as its not much after the deadline, and if other people have been having issues with this seller lately too  :awake:  Please let us know how it goes, and I hope you can get your refund Spinky

its such a shame when a previously good seller goes off the rails .. I hope nothing bad has happened to them IRL.

I got a message from them last night:

Dear spinky69er,

Hi

Items were sent start of Feb. I will contact royal mail and try to chase things up as I have all postage details with me. Will get back to you asap. sorry about this, it is quite annoying as this has happened with a few items sent lately.

So here's hoping they find something.  Maybe they forgot to sign the declarations and its just sitting at the PO?

In the Uk  we dont have a customs form, its a sticker that goes on the front of the parcel/box, and the person at the PO checks the signature, value, contents etc are all filled in :awake:  problem is there isnt a customs number on it to trace the item either .
So your seller says he has had a few parcels go missing? hmmm there have been some cases in the UK recently where things had gone missing and it turned out that a couple of posties had kept lots of mail and parcels ... they were found out though  (and the mail was not opened)  so hopefully whatever they didnt deliver will get delivered soon.  I dont know if your seller was affected by this type of thing, or if perhaps the parcel just got held up at customs, or maybe its still at the PO..  its possible that the PO will take things more seriously if a number of this persons parcels havent been delivered lately. I hope that its just Royal mail being slow rather than postie troubles or a seller going dodgy though. We'll just have to see what he replies with after he has been to the PO .
