Due to a need for more wigs for my CAM dolls and a lack of variety of wigs for them, I started looking into ways to make wigs. And I wanted something that would be fairly quick to put together. So, after finding this tutorial for sewing hair wefts:

I made a fabric wig cap to go over the plastic wrap and I'm using Fabritac instead of hot glue. The hair is from Dollar Tree, I wanted something cheap to work with in case I messed it all up.
First I sewed the hair wefts. Then I cut the ribbon strip of the weft down the middle; this is one half of it. That's done a little differently than in the video. I thought doubling it up would make the hair too bulky.

If the Fabritac sticks to the plastic wrap, I may just skip making a fabric cap next time. Or else go ahead and use low-temp hot glue instead of Fabritac. I'm not crazy how the wig cap turned out.
