Create-A-Monster (CAM) dolls are sets that come with the dolls in pieces, and you're supposed to build them yourself. They are all bald, and they come with wigs. The starter packs include two monsters, and the add-on packs include only the head, lower arms, and calves -- you have to get the thighs, upper arms, and torso from a starter pack. Mattel put out a torso set a while back with matching pieces for the older add-ons, but we have yet to see matching torsos for the ghost, puma, harpy, and siren. So, if you decide to get an add-on pack, you'll need to find a torso and upper arms and thighs for it, and you may also have to paint them to match. Otherwise, CAMs can be customized just as much as the other dolls. The newer ones have hard plastic caps in their head, which makes them hard to reroot, but there are ways around that if you're creative. I heard that RetroDolls US is going to be selling replacement caps pretty soon.
