I know I just recently made a topic about DaP Fluttershy but I bet by the end of the night it will be on page 2 or 3 with no new post XD

So has anyone attempted to take DaP Fluttershy's or Rainbowdash's hair off yet? Well I did and believe me it was not what I was expecting XD

Edit: adding pics, had to take a moment to actually get them uploaded

Now I haven't an idea what I can do with her xD those raised areas are hollow by the looks (light shining through it) and feel of it

Whoa, that sure looks bizarre!

Are you trying to customize her? Maybe you could sculpt a different hairstyle over those bumps. I suppose you could sculpt an accessory over the left leg to hide the indent on it if you're going for a shorter mane, too, like a necklace or satchel. I don't have one of my own to experiment with though, so all I can do is give suggestions.

I'll probably take a harder route... I just managed to pop her head off... and apparently her wings decided to come loose at the same time. This is quite interesting to see as I was more expecting depressions and not ridges on her XD But I was doing this more because I remember one of the topics on them was someone mentioning on trying to remove the hair and some said they wouldn't do it for I guess reasons of it not being easy... I did it in less than an hour with just hot tap water XD

Wow! I remember that thread recently as well about trying to remove the hair.

Is it odd to say its not what I expected it to look like but at the same time kind of makes sense? Gripping points in the plastic is going to make it more secure than just glue but it does make it tough to do much with her without her hair and without getting really creative!

Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

This is why I said I expected depressions, which I could easily deal with... I did get the rest of her taken apart... from head to tail... all the raised areas on the rest of her is going to be easy to deal with, just not that head XD We'll just have to see in the next few weeks... I'll be posting the progress on the Customs forums as soon as I figure out what to do with her wings.... if my hunch is right about FS Pegasus

Interesting!  I bet Dash is the same way-  I suppose given the raised areas, you would be limited to a molded custom?

Well, that sure looks... interesting. xD

I tried getting RD's mane off the other day, but I only got the tail off and loosened the lower part of her mane. Now she has cuts in a couple places and a hole in her back leg where her tail was glued.  :yikes: I can't believe you got Fluttershy's off in just an hour!
