First: I've had a Quackers in my window for going on two months now. I've been warned that she's prone to burning, so I don't want to go to long with her in the light. She's brightened to a beautiful white by now (you know how sometimes the neck plug will look bright white no matter how yellow or brown the pony is outside? It matches now.) But some of the dark brown spots haven't faded at all, and neither has the highlighter and other ink marks on her. Should I be happy that she's overall pretty white and pull her out, or should I try to keep fading the highlighter and brown spots? What would you do?
Second: I have a discoloured Starshine. She came to me with cancerous spots, highlighter and ink marks, and overall yellowing and colour mismatch. Since she was in such poor condition, I went ahead and covered her in acne cream for a few days. She seems a bit whiter than when I started, but the discolouration is still obvious and the ink marks/dark spots are still there. I've decided to sunfade her. Do you have tips for covering big glitter symbols so the tape doesn't touch it? Trace over it on paper and cut the tape out perfectly? Maybe I just answered my own question...
Bonus question: Anyone have a link to info on touching up glitter? Most of my glitter symbol ponies are missing most or all of their marks. ):
