to all plushie makers: how do you make the eyes?

that's my question.
how do you make them?  do you stamp them?
I need information about how can the eyes be stamped, like, what machine you use and stuff like that.
I friend learned how to make ponies but is having problems with the eyes, I'd be very grateful if somebody gives me any information.

I make mine with T-shirt iron ons you can get them in any office-oriented store i think. They need to be for black clothes though!
When i first started out i just cut them out in felt in different layers.
some do embroidery with machine, id love to do this aswell but those machines costs an awful lot to buy =) , hope this helps!

I use the iron-on transfers as well.  A friend of mine could do the embroidery eyes for me but I'd need so many I'd feel bad always asking her to do them.

I hand embroider mine
Too cheap for a machine and I don't like the 'stamped on' look

I've been using the iron-on transfers, but we're started to work on machine embroidery now for our plushies.  The machine (and the software for it) weren't cheap, though...
