I was a bit indifferent to her when she was first released, but now that her "corrected version" has been made, I think the signature-colored one is a neat variant. I really like how they display together and it makes tracking them both down almost worth it.

It should be interesting to see if she's considered to be sought after somewhere down the line, but I'd personally hold onto her to wait and see. I've been debating on picking one up for the same reason.

Thanks for the pics!  I've seen them, that's why I wrote the thread..was wondering people's thoughts.  I really believe that the error version with Signature makeup will be considered rare at some point.  It's an error.  Even if she's never worth anything she's not that much if you get her retail so why not get another one to keep MIB?  Variants are cool..

Oops, sorry about that. I had originally written my response to the discussion along with that image as an added resource for the thread and I didn't realize I accidentally deleted it before only posting that. Fixed now.

Oh no worries Mandy85, pics are appreciated as I'm sure other forum members have not seen them yet!

ivybunny, the first few SC Venus dolls were an error, they have the same makeup as Signature Venus.  Perhaps they were leftovers, who knows?  The new ones have green eyeshadow and hot pink lips that match the artwork on the SC box. Hope that helps.

arghh, guess I will try to hunt down another pink Venus to keep MIB. It makes sense what you're saying angelfish. If anything I suppose I could always sell her for retail if worse came to worse.

There will be variations in her bathing suit because of the patterns in the fabric. I have two different GB Clawdeen bathing suits with varying patterns.

Its the same for me, I bought a DDG opie in a lagoona box... The box doesnt look tampered with, but he card and all is in the box for lagoona... I think I have posted pics... It may eventually be rare... but I dont know...

SC Venus is the only one I didn't find this week! I'm a little partial to the green version, myself. I didn't really mind that she had the signature Venus's make-up, but now that there is a difference, I would prefer that one. Just my 2 cents
