CM ponies have oddly thin hair?

My CM Applejack has very thin/weird hair. I can't keep it looking good without having it in a braid, and it's just really frustrating! At least shine brights had manageable manes! Are all CMs like this?

I don't have any Crystal Motion ponies but I noticed the hair seemed slightly thinner on my Crystal Empire Fluttershy that came with Glimmer Wings Sweetsong. Sweetsong's seems ok but I hope it's not going to be a trend to release ponies with thinner hair than they already have

I didn't notice with the other two but my Applejack seems to have it a bit thin.

I didn't notice thin hair on my earlier Glimmer Wings? I hope they aren't just cutting down on hair as the line goes on.

Gosh she does certainly look a little thinner on top than earlier releases. For me some of the G4s have a little more mane than you would expect in a pony of that size but I always figured that was to balance out the terrible tail. By any weird chance do the CMs have slightly more hair in their tails then regular ponies? Perhaps Hasbro are redressing the imbalance?

I just checked her and no, if anything her tail is thinner than a regular brushable.

Same thing with me too! It seems though only my Crystal Motion Applejack has this problem...my Twilight and Rainbow Dash seem fine...

Wishful thinking on my  behalf I guess then Oh well...cutting costs Hasbro is the answer I suppose.
