Girl Scout Operation Cookie

Hi gang, some of you know my daughter Clonecommander is a Girl Scout.  She is also one of our councils top cookie sellers.  It seems they have had a call for cookies to send to our troops (which is what operation cookie does) but they do not have any.  So they are asking for their super sellers to see what they can do to help out in the next four days.  The push started today to mark the first ever National Girl Scout Cookie Day and our council wants to collect enough to send 2,013 boxes over. 

How can you help out?  If you are able, you can become a "sponsor" by "donating" a box of cookies though my daughter which will then be sent to the troops.  I believe this round is going to our troops in Afghanistan.

Each box is $4 and you can send the money to me via pay pal as a gift which will then be deposited into the Operation Cookie Account for our council. 

You can post here and I will PM you with my pay pal info or you can PM me.  I will need your real name and any message you wish to send to the troops, this information will be sent in with the money for the cookies.  The messages will be passed onto the troops getting this round of cookies.

I think that's a wonderful idea!  Since I no longer can eat GS Cookies (*sob*), I was wondering if I could donate boxes somehow.    When we get paid, I'll send the money for my usual order and that way I can still support the Scouts, help Clones, not get a tummy ache from cookies, and send a treat across seas.  Win-win-win-win!

Thanks so much Zenna, and yeah I know loads of folks can not eat gluten but the bakers can not come up with something that stays in our price range and still has lots of cookies in the box.  At least that is the line we get.

Sure our campaign actually runs to the beginning of May, they are just pushing now because they are in need of em, but they send em over three times a year.
