Help find the name of my childhood toy?
« on: February 20, 2013, 04:43:05 PM »
Hi ^^
Well this is going to a be a bit tricky. but I was wondering if maybe someone knows what my childhood stuffed toy was?

he looks VERY odd.

Sadly I don't have any pictures of him. I lost him years ago
I'm 18 so I don't think he can be TOO old (though I did find him in a thrift)

bright red fuzzy hair (not doll like. Best compared to Shining Armours troll hair)
Big nose
Beady eyes
Has black overalls with a long sleeved shirt underneath
feet are non existant (not exactly sure how to explain but there wasn't any o-o it was the same for his hands aswell)

Not even sure if it's even possible to find him though it's worth a shot right?

Sounds like a Rainbow Brite sprite with its limbs chopped off and clothing on. Did it look anything like a sprite to help us get a better idea of his looks?

My original thought was some sort of gossamer stuffie from looney toons, but no nose and it has limbs.

I don't think so. everything was factory sealed (even the clothes) nothing could come off of it)

It's a longshot, but might it be this?

There's no name given, but I think it fits the description. Maybe someone else might know what it's called.
