I'm having trouble filing a non paid item report

As the title says, I am having trouble filing a non paid item report. I remembered that I had enabled ebay to automatically file them for me, but I didn't realize that the default setting was for 30 days. I dont want to give the person 30 days to pay. I wanted to give them the standard 3.

Well, I changed the setting to three days, but when I go to "resolve a problem", it still says that a non paid item ticket will be opened automatically on March 11. I really do not want that. The only other option it gives me is to look up another transaction number.

Am I just screwed? Or is there a way around this? I'm prepared to call ebay tomorrow if needed.

If you just changed it, it may take 24 hours for it to update. 

I would try later or maybe tomorrow to see if it works.  If it still is not then you may have to phone ebay.

Thank you Ponylady That's what I thought, but it feels better to have someone else confirm it.

Hopefully that is it    Which I am sure it probably is considering ebay can be so screwed up sometimes.

I know I used to have it set automatically and I thought forget that.  It's easier to just open them on my own. Plus if someone contacts me and has to hold off on payment, I didn't want them opening a case and then the person thinking I was nuts.

This ^^    hopefully  it will update before you have to resort to phoning ebay. Still if it doesnt then phoning ebay is better than waiting it out until March 11th

I got it taken care of today. Turns out my settings had not saved when I originally changed them. I just disabled it completely and it let me file right away. I think Im not going to turn it back on after this fiasco!

Zeike was having some issues with payment and stuff with ebay.

The standard amount of time for payment according to ebay is 4 days. I state in all my auctions that I expect payment within 5 days.

While it's probably a good thing to call ebay, listening to Zeike deal with their help line his thought was that they're just people at a desk searching the website like you could do yourself.
