PC Italy Yellow Minty Variant

Hiya,

I need a Price Check for a beautiful yellow Minty Variant.
She's in good condition but not perfect.
She has a few very very light penmark marks/dots - that light that my cam doesn't snap it. So it isn't to see on the first look and she isn't bad.

Hair is uncut and very silky.

Who can help with a price check?

i would say between $100-$150 for her prices have been a little fickle with the italian variants lately, with a lot dropping below $100

oh please not so low - I would say $200 at low end to $250... I think sosilver let one go to sarahbee at UKcon for that range?  I have mine on payment plans in that range... I think it depends on if you need a super quick sale, than I guess slash to make a deal

yours doesn't sound that bad and the holidays are coming  - and the new years resolutions ;-)

i doubt yellow minty will drop below the $100 mark but i have seen brown italy butterscotch and brown peachy both go for round the $80 mark, pretty sad really considering they used to fetch $200 each not so long ago.

i would still think $200 is high for magenta haired yellow minty and i do not know what the minty sold at ponycon went for or which version it was.

from my experience the yellow minty variants go for prices $100 plus and up to $500-$600

here is a list of the variants with easiest and lowest priced to find first:

white hair
magenta hair (moondancer red)
red hair (rice crispy baby red)
green hair (only two or three found)
lilac hair (only one found)
 
there is also minty with sugar berry red hair, but i am not sure how hard she is to find compaired to the magenta and red haired minty's.

oh geesh, I thought that neon red hair minty was the only red = sugar berry red... huh, ok so red head minty is like red head bowtie than

well that's funny if I sold a more rare neon red minty since i got doubles from Dupecheck - so I can vouch for knowledge of two sugarberry reds out there and I've never seen a rice crispy red head minty

yeah, it's funny how all these magenta hair minty ponies suddenly appeared ... now if only other nirvana would do that!

I guess the bottom line on prices/value for ponies is as they say = whatever a buyer is willing to pay

it is so confusing! it is often hard to tell the difference between the reds just from a picture on your PC screen. the difference between the sugarberry red and paradise red is small difference and one you would only notice if you were *really* looking. it was only a few years back that we picked up on the different reds and the reson we had not seen it before was because we had not seen many red haired mintys (or other red haired italy ponies!)

all the red haired minty's are in the gallery, including rice crispy baby red haired minty i agree that rice cripsy red haired minty is like the red haired cp bowtie!

i think we can now fit in the sugarberry red haired ladies

white hair

from my experience over time we have seen more of the white and magenta haired minty's than any of the other yellow minty variants. HOWEVER how many come up for sale does affect the price and to be honest i have not seen mny up for sale lately.

i have re-looked into magenta minty's price just now and the last one for sale i could find is $250 and it was a magenta minty she was for sale earlier this year (march if i remember rightly)

it could be her price has changed and she has gone up in value, especially since that is what you have paid for your pony. minty is always popular and that will always push her price up, it could also be that not many have been up for sale for a bit and that too pushes the price up.

I think 100 is for the white hair variants.
And I would also put  magenta hair around 200, since it's the most "common" of these yellow ones.

The other ones are far higher !

I would put the magenta haired yellow one at $150-180 myself - I also think $200 would be high in general. Ponycon is a little different for prices sometimes, as there is no postage, no worry of getting lost, and you can see for certain what you're getting, plus the pound is strong against the dollar I think?

I do not know anything on prices of these beautiful girls. But I have to say that you must have a very big collection!!!

A classmate of mine gave me her old MLP. I was happy, because it was the first pony I ever received as a present for me starting collection.

I checked on mylittlewiki and it seems to be an Italian Minty Variant 1 made in 1982 and part of the collectors pony's. She needs a wash and clean hair. On one side three of the cutie mark almost or completely faded.
I do not want to sell, but I am just curious how big the gift was she gave me. Maybe she needs an extra big hug or I take to a coffeeshop for a drink  .
