Ponywear question - Rainy Day - variant?
« on: February 06, 2013, 12:11:19 PM »
Hiya

I have a couple of rainy day ponywear outfits (the UK exclusive one) and they are different materials.  One is a shiny patent bright yellow and the other is a matt pale yellow.

I just wondered if maybe one is from some other set?

Thanks!

Are you sure one isn't the US one?

It's a thinner material than the UK one.

Nope definitely not as I have Ready for Rainbows Mummy / Baby Wear here too and that is yet another different material lol. Like you say its much thinner, I'd compare it to a cheap tent material *rofl*

I'll post up a photo of all three together. Two mins :D

Hrm, how odd, I thought the colour variants  WERE the USA Ready for Rainbows release...

I do have both sets of the Rainy Day wear, in matte-bright-yellow, and patent-medium-yellow, I think there's no real difference to it other than batches of fabric and release dates.

Thanks Dusky; that makes sense :) I just haven't seen the shiny one before and couldn't find any info about the two 'versions' on greatponies or mylittlewiki :)

Here are the photos for anyone who hasn't seen the difference before :)

I believe there are 2 versions - all the other sets from this set have 2 versions
Bedtime has the white trim and a blue trim
Party time has a white tiara/trim and a red tiara/trim
Jewellery box has a blue box and a pink box
And the Ready for Rainbows has patent and a matt version

Are you selling honey? I have a Ready For Rainbows army [I am in Scotland after all and all ponies need to be ready for rain] and am always on the look out! :)
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I love Loa more than PonyLady!
