You find solace in the pony, the giant BLUE MLP shows love and how it makes her feel safe, away from the crazy-ness of everyday life. Since she rode it away into her inner peace (the ocean) since that too was blue.

Hehe, I just thought if it were one of us, it would probably be a specific pony rather than a nondescript bright blue one!
