G3 Tinsel Problems
« on: January 25, 2013, 08:44:12 AM »
Hi guys!

My Starswirl's tinsel has gone crazy. Here's a quick snapshot of her just so you guys can get an idea.

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I'm going to give her a bath along with her bff DaisyJo (call them that because they came together in a bonus pack :)  ) and wanted to know any tricks that might help?  :what:
I'm not experienced neither want to resort to re-rooting tinsel in her hair. I'm not looking to get her hair as it came originally, of course. I just want it to get a little more straight.

All help is welcome! Thank you, and if it works I'll show you how she came out soon!

I vote for straightening it.  You can get AMAZING results with a flat iron!  :)

I like the look she has now. lol. But a flat iron should straighten it out.

I ll second Skeen - damp & overly conditioned hair and a flat iron and you should get a result. Just be super quick and careful as you use the iron as you can melt or remove the coating from the tinsel. Personally I prefer to clothes iron the hair through a damp pillow case but honestly most people seem to go with the flat iron option.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Oh I need to remember that since I do not own a flat iron.
