I honestly think its rust or maybe its just the way the camera is making the hair appear not entirely uniform in colour - I know you are all gonna call me crazy lol!

But either way I do think she is lovely as a redhead!

Anyone got an eyeballed match for this?  I stink at color matches, but would love to rehair someone in a similar color.

I just cleaned a baby sticky. Her white hair was so rusty red discolored on the outside her insides were atrocious. Yoyo is lovely with her hair that color.

I highly doubt she's a variant. I'm leaning towards rust or rehair. Neat find though she looks very chic in that hair colour lol

It didn't surprise me with Lickety Split as she has that faded pink hair but I was totally flabbergasted that the rust changed North Star's lavender hair!

Oh WOW! Would you look at that Baby North Star :O With this in mind I also vote rust discoloration, though I think it turned out gorgeous! How interesting!

So.. inside she is very rusty. Might be her tail clip instead of her washer.
(my sweetie is such a sport and held her tail for the shot.) I can't see inside her head enough to see if it's factory weave.

Dunno tho. Do you think rust could be this uniform?

I don't doubt that rust can be uniform. It's a kind of slow process for tail rust but I'm sure that over x amount of time the tail could become all rusty color! Even the hair, trust me I've seen ponies with rust in their heads!

if you want to keep her with that color then just a normal bath should be fine, if you want to remove that color... well there seems to be various ways to do so... Washing with toothpaste works to a point... I've never been able to fully remove rust from pony hair with it... I remember people talking about using RIT's rust remover? Not sure one that though...

If you want to remove the rust (presuming it is), pour a little bit of CLR into a jar, throw the head/tail in there, and wait a few days.  Use gloves when removing the pony bits and wash thoroughly!

I washed her and washed her hair. I think I'll just leave it at that. SHe looks pretty neat with the different hair color, so into the collection she goes! Thanks for all of the input! :-)
