I picked up my first pair (which died a death of G3 glue) at hub hobby, and i think mom got hers at Joann fabrics, but am not certain. Electrical supply places like radio shack and similar may have them also, but they'll probably be more expensive.
My creativity keeps running into a lack of time and resources.
I'm also available via twitter at @Kazzellin :)

So many projects!! What do I want to work on? :awake:

I bought a couple of them in Walmart.  Like it's been said, check the fishing lure section.

I also saw them at Hobby Lobby, in the educational/models section (not too far from the section with molding and resin casting kits, Milliput, etc.).

Reptile supply sites! Although they'll cost ya more than $2. I use mine for dangling mouse-sicles in front of my hungry snake :P

I also found extra-long needlenose pliers at the local hardware store. Now those look neato!
