New to MH collecting: Greasy Hair?

So I bought my first two ghouls, original Rochelle and Jinafire. The box for Rochelle was pretty mangled but everything was still intact. I noticed though that when I took the part out of the box she's attached to there's a rather unsightly grease stain on the cardboard where her head is?! I then remembered the Frankie we have at work had slightly greasy hair to the touch... do all MH dolls have greasy hair? I'm so confused x_x

I love both my ladies though wanting to get original Robecca and Opperetta!

my Rochelle has really greasy hair, same spot on cardboard when i removed her. it has to do with the type of hair they use. not all of the dolls have this problem tho. i wouldnt worry about it. washing her hair in dawn then googone seems to help.

sticky hair is a concern with some hair, because that is glue seepage. but greasy i wouldnt worry about because its normal.

as for Robecca and Opperetta i have not noticed any greasyness with them.

I would just give them a wash. I have a Dance Class Lagoona with slightly greasy hair, but it wasn't enough to leave behind a yucky stain on the box! I've been debating whether or not I want to bathe her, but I'm starting to think maybe her hair really could use a wash.

Yup they all come with kinda stickiesh gluey looking hair for the most part. I am unable to wash mine due to power problems but since they are on display for the time being it doesn't matter too much

Yeah, my first Cleo, from the Cleo/Deuce 2 pack had really greasy hair too!  It's not a recent thing for sure. I think even Wave 1 Frankie was a smidge greasy.
