Wow, can't believe that someone would just donate customs to Goodwill!    I am glad that someone here won the auction, though.  Hopefully they arrive packaged safely!

Congrats Okie, you never know how life will treat those who our customs go to.  I know alot of model customizers will be sure to let the new owners know that if they ever need they will buy them back.

Very true, Diamond.  I always wonder about the story behind customs that end up in resale shops.  Was it an artist who left the customizing world, or maybe something happened to the person who owned them?    Where they donated by mistake?  Like a box ended up being taken to Goodwill that shouldn't have been?  Maybe they were in a storage locker that had to be auctioned off, and someone didn't realize what they were? So many questions and possibilites.  If only these girls could talk! I'm surprised no one recognizes them, and I haven't been able to find out anything about them yet!  I'm crossing my fingers that they're signed!

kinda a slap in the face to the customizor that the person didn't even try to find a new home for them
just brought them to good will.
if i ever outgrew a custom i got, i'd make sure it went to a good home.

That's the thing tho, we don't know why they ended up at Goodwill.  It could've been the actual customizer who donated them.

Same way giant crystal vases and bowls or genuine vuitton or gucci stuff end up at op shops,  heck people even donate their used spectacles! Maybe it was a case of 'here, I'll give it to this op shop and a) it'll go to a good home and b) money to a good cause.
