no pony area at TARGET !!!

It sounds like they may be in the middle of a toy isle reset. I bet the pony section is just being moved, and they have not gotten that far yet.

The MLP section at my Target dissapeared last summer during a toy reset and hasn't been back yet... Kinda strange!

Yes I agree reset. I notice this every year also.  The reset for MLP isn't tough because there isn't much of it where as MH has a lot of stuff and they will probably move that last if they move it at all.  This is just a ploy to get people confused enough to spend money on things they had not planned to buy but saw because they were on a different isle.  Could be they don't have any merchandise at that location due to Christmas...too...so if there is just a little bit of stuff they may stick it on the end of the isle until new stuff can be put out.  There is also the chance that if it wasn't a big seller at your location it may not be restocked.  Thats rare, but it does happen.

I see, I have never seen that before, but well,I'm still new,just been monitoring the toy aisle since last august ,so this is my first Christmas on the pony wagon !:)
this is  one of the  4 Target's closest to me ,they must have sold out all their stuff last month.
the other 3 have not ran out of stuff so far.

Thank you Oneloe1 you hit the nail on the head.  So really gang chill, it is the time of year when us retail folks rearrange our stores to make you walk around and impulse buy stuff.  So give a week and it shall be back but in a new place.  It happens every year and has been going on for ages.  Dang if I had a tenner for everyone one of these post during the G3 error, I would own several more ponies.

My Target still has ponies (in their old spot) and the aisles are a mess and not reset yet.  But, the reset should be coming up soon (and the aisles will be even more of a mess).

Don't panic, they'll reset soon!  If you get lucky, you'll spot the planogram sheets and you can translate the gibberish into what sets of ponies will be on the shelves!

everywhere I have gone (except for Toys R' Us) has little to no pony section. When Ponies come to town, they sell out FAST. The Zellers close to my house had a big section of MLP toys (about 1/4 of the aisle on one side. I consider that big) and now they only have 1-2 pony toys left. Same with the Wal-Mart, only wave 8 wedding singles and the rc car are left. I can't wait till more things are released so I can buy new things.

Yup - standard practice at this time of year for most retailers.

Between standard resets it is also after the Christmas rush so between clearances and re stocking it tends to mean different stores have different layouts, different stock levels and therefore different demands on space. Also with a brand like MLP in a general retailer display area will vary subject to how much suppliers have negotiated with the retailer or which products buyers are bringing in.

Give it a few weeks and you ll find ponies again.

Maybe some Targets don't sell Ponies too well, so they don't bother putting them on shelves?


I feel your pain. My local Asda has only had a Pony section for a couple of months. Before then, they just had scary fakies.

  It's not unusual for the pony section to be low on the priority list for resetting, and sometimes they take a few weeks to get put back up. 

Haha! Not at our Target! I insist that the Pony Aisle gets done as soon as possible! And my co-workers know that I get to set it!
