Enter-play Free Trading card product Samples...what?
« on: January 02, 2013, 02:01:25 PM »
Ok..so about 2 weeks ago, i went to the Enter-play website ordered me the Binder for $20 cus ebay was a joke, I though tit expesnvie but i wanted the rxclusive cards, while there since it didn't add on to my shipping any, i picked up a second colelctors tin for the F39 card to give to a friend, a 3 pack of cards, a 3 pack of littlest pet shop series 1 and a 3 pack of series 2.

The items arrived fairly quickly and to my surprize enstead of 3 each of the loose packs, I got 4 of all 3 series, and between those 4 MLP cards plus the 6 in the tin, I got 2 gold cards, so I thought I was doing pretty good.

Well, today, UPS shows up and drops off a box, from an individual at Enter-play...Addressed to me.  I didn't order any thing else...what give.  I open it curiously, and inside I find An MLP Binder, sealed, a colectors tin sealed, 2 loose packs of MLP cards, 1 series 1 littlest pet shop and 3 series 2 littlest pet shop, no packing slip.  The shipping lable on further inspection says "Product Samples - No Sale"

...What just happened?  Did I become a distributor? :)  I'm surprized, and was wodnering if anyone else had a similer experience?

I'm also not sure what to do with my spoils...I already have another box of 30 cards coming, that shoudl with any luck cover most of my missing cards, I did open the singles, no joy.  I don't need a second bidner, I may surprize a friend with ti as a gift, but she already has or will have a tin, Do I try to sell it on ebay, which i hate having to list auctions and wait for a sale then ship it... I'm still just a little surprized...I guess I got my money's worth...I think I'm just going to order from the enter-play site now whenever possible :)

Not to be ungrateful, but if only they sent me samples of the Pinkie Pie or DJ Pon-3 boxes :)

You're a lucky duck! I wish a company like them would send me random stuff. A girl can dream, right? It's not uncommon though. I know Mattel has been sending out free dolls to those who review products on youtube.

It's becoming more and more common I guess.  I'm a Gamer, specifically I play World of Warcraft, and a lot of the You Tube personalities that run Gaming and/or Wow channels have been getting free copys of games to give out in promotions.

I reviewed the MLP DVD on Amazon, I've commented on a video about the bidner, and then my posts here.  I just wonder if any of that did it, or it was just a random here you spent money have more stuff.  This psot is kind of my way of telling peopel to shop at Enter-play :)  I guess thats kinda what they want lol.

Wow, congrats!  That's really cool of them, I haven't heard of that happening before.

Perhaps if you're really curious you could e-mail them and ask about it? :)

Enterplay is really nice above giving extra stuff! When I ordered the Binder with 3 packs of cards, they gave me an addition 2 packs.
