Extra serial numbers on a g3?

I just got in a very nice lot of g3s, and in it I found a Spring Parade. She looks like my other ones, except that she has two numbers on her front left hoof (the one without the magnet). They say: C-060A and 93341...what is this? Any idea?

Also what do you do when you come across some strange mistake? In the same lot I also found a sunshine parade with her cutie mark obviously misprinted. It is almost on her flank instead of her hip and is tilted to the left, but is fully intact.

Now, let's see - I may be totally wrong, but I believe that the ponies with extra serial numbers on their hooves were from the Disney World Build-A-Pony kiosk? I know that the Piccolo my friend got me, at least, has some extra numbers on her hoof, and that's how I tell her apart from my regular release. And I think Spring Parade was sold there, too?

The cutie mark sounds like a misprint to me, but it sounds cute!

On the misprint...honestly we moan about G4 quality control but G3 had just as many issues. Missing symbols, part missing symbols, colour missed from symbols, misprinted symbols all turn up with reasonable regularity. However, she will be a cute addition to a collection as no doubt the misprint makes her a little more unique than all the other Sunshine's.

As for the serial number - I believe the 5 digit code works the same as with the G4 which is a factory/line id number [9], then the production year [3] and finally the day of the year the pony was produced [341th].

Ohhh, I didn't even think of that, Hathorcat! I thought she meant an EXTRA serial number on the hoof - oops!

Ok. Thanks, just never saw it on a g3 before.

I dont believe they all have it. I think its all down to year of production, factory of production and as Snap says whether it was a special production or not.
