Is FS Applejack still rare and sought after?

Basically Fluttershy, Twilight, and AJ are the next wave theoretically. I wouldn't be surprised if they find she's too expensive to rerelease and alter her bangs and accessories if they rerelease her at all.

This has the release date as Spring 2012, so it doesn't really say much about what is coming up.  I like to watch Taobao for hints of the next releases... So far no AJ.  I managed to snag one off eBay for $60 not too long ago.  Sometimes you get lucky and one slips past the other people hunting for her.

It says that Applejack and a few of the others should come out in the fall, though, and this is still technically fall. It wouldn't surprise me if they lied...I just don't want to pay gray pegasus prices for her!

Will the re-release have the forelocks?

I already have it, so. I'm cool, but, curious if the new one will have forelocks.

I've been spotting random 2010 Raritys. I think they were returns because the only other FS ponies around them were mostly Celestia and/or Luna. I've only seen three 2010 Raritys in the last few weeks.

I think you can tell the newer ones apart by the peghook on top.

None of my older ones have that, and i've stocked a few of those ones and none of them had a peghook fresh out of the case.

Well, I'm starting to see more Pinkie Pie and Rarities here, but still no AJ. However, Hasbro Malaysia did say that they'll be bringing her in when she gets re-released the near future, so it's most likely certain that a re-release is indeed planned.

I'm crossing my fingers for a rerelease. AJ is my second favorite FiM pony and I'd love to get a FS of her. I'm not too big on accessories for any ponies (I throw them all in a jar) so accessory differences won't be a dealbreaker at least with me.

Rarity was supposed to be... well, rare, but I just saw her and Pinkie at Target today.
