Thinking about downsizing, who should I let go?

I guess I can't seem to wrap my head around the G3's being less popular now, I hope you'll keep us posted if and when you decide to sell.

i would start with the more common G3 ponies that's what i do when i purge my ponies. now mail order or special offer ones that's a no brainier keep them.

If you have had them in storage for so long and havent missed them, then I would say you are certainly safe to sell. As for the rarer G4s at the moment the exclusives are a touch lower in price then they were but the franken-ponies such as Rarity/Celestia and wingless Dash have held price.

Like the others said, if you don't feel an emotional attachment to the G3s and G4s, let them go.

I've downsized a lot since I started collecting. I basically go by my gut--which ones can I never let go versus which ones I maybe-might want to let go versus which ones I could definitely live without. Early on it was harder because I wanted to have a huge collection. Then as time went on, I realized that I didn't really care about all the ones I thought I wanted. So, that's my advice. If you have an inkling that you will regret selling/trading one, don't let it go.
