The perfect perfume puff hair

I've been wanting to do a perfume puff for a long time now, but was unsure what kind of material to use for the hair. Yesterday while in Joanne fabrics looking for something unrelated, I stumbled upon these!

Multi-colored bags of wool! They were $3.99 and seemed to be the right texture so I got one. There's a lot more hair than you realize in there, and I was surprised to find the texture is PERFECT! Almost an exact match to the real hair.

I used it on a custom and it worked beautiful, so happy ^^

Oh wow! Thank you so much for posting this! I was wondering what it even looked like (I heard the name before but never a real picture of the product). Now I need to see if I can find this at our Joann's. ^_^

I have wool roving but never used it

I stared at this stuff all the time when I worked at Joann and always thought it would be perfect. I actually custom dyed some other wool roving for a perfume puff custom quite a while ago, but didn't use this particular brand.

Oooh! I've got a bunch of that, just never got around to using it. I'm exited about it now.
