So kind of you! I would love to get my childhood ponies back. I only wrote on a few though, the ones that went to school with me occasionally or that went to my friends houses (I grew up in Essex, and ponies would have been initialed 'SB' or Sarah )

aww bless you all, I'm just hoping I can find the owner...seeing the writing on the feet made me think of Andy in Toy Story when he writes his name on woodys boot.

It kinda makes me sad to see initials on ponies' feet.....makes me wonder if whoever had them before is missing them.

I only ever wrote on one of my ponies and thankfully she is still with me.

Things like this make you remember these toys all had lives prior and it is both sad and happy at the same time.

I do hope Lisa comes forward and Posey can go home again, but if not at least she's with you

I had a Munchy which I recently traded away and only when packing up did I notice she had a number on her feet...74 or 75 or something...makes me wonder what on earth the number stood for.

This really makes you think about your pony's life before they get to you. Who's favorite she was? What adventures did she go on with her other pony friends and some lucky little girl?

Yea, I wonder about that a lot with my used ponies. "Who did you belong to? What did you do? What were your adventures?"

That site is such a good idea! I know I have a couple of ponies with initials on their hooves, I will look them out and submit them in the hope that someone, somewhere, will do the same for my childhood ponies...
