symbol variations on German Rainbows
« on: November 20, 2012, 05:06:52 AM »
OK, I know Night Light and Raindrop have big and small symbol variations, but what about the other German rainbows (Skydancer, Moonstone, Starshine, and Flutterbye)?  Do they have big and small variations too?  Or other kinds of differences?  I just got a Starshine upgrade with a bright golden yellow symbol, and I just noticed that my old one has a more metallic gold symbol (not really yellow).  And my new one doesn't really look faded.
Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

Metallic and yellow are the variants for Starshine and from what I'm told Skydancer is large and small symbol. I want to assume Moonstone probably has regular and metallic, but I don't know that for certain on her.

The regular US release of Moonstone had a small & large symbol variation, so it's possible that those same stencils were used on the German release. I only have 1 version of German Moonstone, so I'm not sure... just throwing it out as a possibility. ;)

German Fluttershy has distinctly different shaped butterflies as her symbol variation. :bigups:

I have only see the Non Glittery Symbol Release in the German Rainbows for Moonstone
but we really need one of the German members to step in and add some info to the Thread.
I am thinking I had heard something about Glitter or metallic symbols at some point for the German Rainbows.
Maybe  Sternenstaub, I know she has a lot of MOC ponies and Loves collecting the German ponies.

OK, that looks like it sums up the differences nicely; thanks PKW!

Gah, so frustrating, when technically I want ALL of them!!
