Edit:Really strange shipping dates?..again?

I just bought a pony on Ebay and noticed after paying the estimated shipping dates. The shipping dates have it from around Dec-January....that cannot be right can it? Surely that cannot. I mean I would have to file a paypal claim before then...just...what? I'm really confused on that date. Should I send them a message about it? That's a bit odd to me.

Edit: Well after posting this I had finally talked to the seller, and he told me he would ship the week after I bought the item. He told me the shipping date was not correct on my order...but I just got an update from Ebay with a tracking number that he just shipped today. I paid for my item on the 23rd of Oct...what?   I have no idea what to do here hopefully the item will show up before my days on paypal, but what should I do?

Hm. maybe the seller made a mistake?
I would message him first and see if he answer or not.
I f you don't hear back and don't receive a pony you still can open a paypal claim.

Sounds really fishy, where is it coming in from? If china then ya double check with them to be sure and open a claim before 45 days if it hasn't arrived by then no matter what or you may not see your purchase or money back again.
It used to be a thing, particularly chinese sellers, would use to overcome the paypal claim thing back when it was 60 days. they never have to ship by claiming it as a "customs holding" issue and by the time people finally got fed up and started to report it was too late.
I'm sure yours is just a glitch though.

the item was not a pre-order, right? Even then, that is a stretch for a pre-order!

Nope not a pre order just a pony. I hadn't noticed it till I paid for it and it came up on my list with the shipping estimation dates. I'm going to send them a message because that's really weird.

Alright weird issue resolved. The seller told me it was a mix up on their part, but the pony will ship soon. That was just strange.

Fault can happen and maybe he mixed up with another auction he listed before.

This happened to me the other day when my husband bought two re-ment boxes off of amazon. Apparently there are two reasons...one they are coming from Japan and two they were out and had to resupply. I won't get them until almost Christmas. So much for birthday gift. ROFLOL

Keep an eye on your 45 day limit, and be sure to report it to paypal or ebay if it doesnt show up. And give that guy 1 star for poor shipping Shame on him!
