You guys know I'll always torment you with my Nirvana restoration questions, but I'll keep this short. I have two today.
1) I had three ponies with the deep pores and nastyness. I cleaned them out pretty good, and it took a great deal of work...blah! Finally they are clean on the outside, but two of them still have the pores inside with some being dirty. The majority of the dirty pores are the ones that are hard to reach in the corners near the rump and then down in the feet. I've used small tooth brushes, bottle cleaners, hot water, oxiclean ect. Some are just in bad spots to get out for me. I've decided to leave them there. My question is since it's an issue with the plastic and trapped dirt storing them with my other Nirvanas it should not cause a problem right? I tend to store all my girls in under the bed tubs and wrap them in tissue paper and put the little gel packs in the tubs. The girls are also cleaned in a diluted bleach solution and dried before storage.
2) I finally have two Argies that have good natural hair. It's nice and soft and they are only missing a few plugs. I would like to keep their hair, but I have a small problem. The hair plug holes are nasty and dirty...gross! I've tried simple washing, using a toothbrush and scrubbing with toothpaste and oxiclean. The stupid holes are still nasty. How do you clean them out without having to rip the hair out and do it? I mean I've never had trouble with the hairless ones and cleaning out the holes, but the hair is making it difficult.
