Hopscotch...
« on: October 25, 2012, 04:37:35 PM »
So I just noticed I have a few variants of Hopscotch, regular HK, Italy and NC plus the baby. What other versions are there? The only one I can think of is Spain...how much does she go for?

those are the "basic" variants of her :D

i *think* there are very slight variations of HK hopscotch that were sold in europe, i am thinking of the one that was sold in the same set as nss cupcake and nss truly. i am really not sure on her exact details though or just how much different she is. i remember her as harthrocat was messaging me a while back about a hopscotch she wanted rehairing.

you may be better asking in the corral :)

Yes there is a Scandinavian version too...however her only real difference is her eyeliner being brown rather than black - as PKW says its a super minor variation though.

Okay then PKW, tell me more about her releases! I see Snowflake and her were released with the earth ponies a bit, is Snowflake found in the same variants? Wonder why Gypsy and Honeycomb didn't get pushed across a few more areas, they are better looking than Snowflake! Imagine a Spanish Gypsy! Or a French version :)

Not to totally high-jack thus thread, but what other ponies were part of that set?
I knew that the NSS Truly & Cupcake could be identified by their eyeliner, but it never occurred to me that the rest of that set would have the same variation.

So is that Posey with magenta tulips & CJ with straight hair (like Tootsie's with the thick forelock & "chin length" mane not "used to be curly" with a 3 plug forelock & longer mane)? I will have to check the eye liner on my girls & maybe move them off my UK shelves. :P
Thank you, cat!!

edit to add: Scratch that! I checked my girls & they all have black eyeliner. I have a NSS Cupcake, so I do have a brown eyeliner pony to compare. I guess the variations I mentioned above came from a different UK or European release.

Posey with magenta tulips and CJ with straight hair are part of the Gypsy set in the UK as well. The backcard for Truly shows them with pink tulips and curly hair, but that doesn't mean anything, lol!
