Soooo, anyone watching the new series of Red Dwarf?

I'm a massive fan so I was excited it was back! Boyfriend goes out to his table top gaming club of a Thursday night, so I kick him out and settle down to watch it :D It's actually been pretty decent so far!

haven't seen it over here yet but will probably wait a while and then get it when it comes out at the shops!  I'm still working my way through the last part of the boxset :D

BBC Entertainment dropped Red Dwarf by the time I got the channel back. Not sure if it'll be bringing the show in tho. I hope they do.

I haven't seen the new season either.  My husband and I were working our way through the series and loving it to bits when Netflix dropped it.  :(

i havent caught the new season yet. i actually forgot it was out there =P ill have to look into it. (and if anyone is looking for a couple seasons on dvd shoot me a pm... a few christmases back the bf got me the giant boxed set of everything so i have a couple extra seasons now (2 of which are still in plastic)

Here in the UK it's out on Dave (yeah, we have a TV channel called 'Dave'...). Not sure how it'll be distributed to other countries!

Well, we used to get Red Dwarf on MetroVision. However, MetroVision died in 1999 :'( . It eventually received a new management and was renamed 8TV, but Red Dwarf was a no-show on that channel. After that, the show wasn't available in Malaysia for quite a while.

Then a pay TV provider brought in BBC Entertainment in 2006 or so. The show was intermittently aired on said channel, but the provider dropped the channel in mid 2009.

Only recently did the channel resurface on a different provider. However, BBCE doesn't seem to be airing it anymore. I've just wrote in to them asking if they'd bring it back. Hoping for the best.

PS: Judging from the Wikipedia article, I believe the show was aired on PBS in the US.
