I'm having to go through paypal to try and get my money for an order I made to them. Anyone else have a problem with them or is it just me?

After two weeks I have not received either my items, an email on the status of my order and all attempts to contact them have been ignored.

She's had issues in the past about communication. According to a post she put somewhere in the Arena, she prefers to put together orders rather than answer emails. If you really need an answer, though, I've gotten her to respond by putting "URGENT" in the subject line. It took my last order about two or three weeks to arrive.

I just spoke to my assistant, and she said that she hadn't yet shipped your order because she was waiting for our new shipment of paint to arrive (we're out of "rose pink" and "carbon black"). But I told her to ship all of your in-stock items right away, and anything that you ordered that is not currently in stock will ship separately, in a few days. She's processing your order right now, so you'll receive an automated email either tonight or tomorrow, which will include your USPS tracking number. I am so sorry for the delay, and I wish I'd known that she had held onto your order for so long, because I would have told her to ship all of the in-stock stuff long ago. Please accept my apology for the delay, and have a great evening!

-Nothing like a paypal dispute to get things done. Glad I am finally getting my stuff, but I will probably never order from them again.

Urgh sorry, I have never had a problem, but I haven't ordered in ages.  Funny how helpful sellers can be when you file with Paypal I had to do that on Etsy a while back and amazing how the lies stopped and the refund came.

I placed my last order on the 4th and it shipped yesterday, so less than a week for me.  But they were all pretty popular colors and I did allow the 'nearest match' option in case one happened to sell out before my order could be placed.  I didn't order a lot so it seemed like the next best match would be better than one hank and a partial refund.  I haven't had any trouble. ^^ I'm glad you were able to get in touch with her.  The holiday weekend messed people up too a bit.

The slow shipping time is pretty normal for Dollyhair even at the best of times. My orders have always taken at least a week to arrive, usually closer to 2 - that's never been an isue for me though.  I know Tina has said she is trying to improve her customer service after a lot of people had a lot of problems with her site and service. I'm glad you are able to get some sort of resolution, but it's a shame it took a paypal claim to get a response. How did you attempt to contact her before that and how many times? Seems like there are still commincation issues both between her and her staff and between staff and customers.

I placed my order on the 29th of Sept and waited. I sent an email asking what the status of my order was and I got no reply at all.

I don't like to escalate things with paypal, but for the amount of money I paid I wasn't going to just wait around forever.

Usually I get my orders from Dollyhair in about two weeks. I know many people have trouble with Dollyhair, but I've never had an issue. If you ordered on the 29th it's been less than two weeks. That seems a bit early to me to open a depute. Glad you were able to settle things.

I have never had an issues with DollyHair either. But it's been a few months since I have done an order.

I am glad that she got back to you though, despite the dispute.  :huh:  Hopefully you will get your items soon.

Good to hear she contacted you.
But when I understand right - you ordered 12 days ago?

I oder usually 3-4 times a year from dollyhair.com - i'm located in Germany and it takes between 2-7 weeks after placing an order until I get my parcels. That is nothing I'm worry about it.

A few times a friend in the US ordered hair for me - and it took1-2 weeks until she got it.
So maybe it's normal that they need a few days to arrange the orders and parcels?

Well, but at least you know that your hair will be on the way now.

Another thread concerning less-than-great service from Dollyhair. :( This makes me so sad. I have been very loyal to them for years now and have never had any issues, but slow ship times and non-communication issues seem to be cropping up more and more. :huh:

  I'm happy to hear that your order is now going through and that she issued you an apology. Let us know when your order arrives!
