Trade package gone AWOL

Mods: I wasn't sure where to stick this so please move it if it's in the wrong place

I set up a trade with a lovely member on here; her G4s for my G3s. We sent regular mail as we both live in the Northeast. Her package arrived in 4 days while mine still hasn't arrived after a week.

I mailed out a couple packages the same day; did anyone get a package with Wish I May, Blossomforth and Rhythm and Rhyme they couldn't account for? Please PM me if you have!

I know it may not help, but recently I mailed a letter to a member here with some rehairing needles. The letter hadn't arrived after a week, so I sent some more. The old ones and the new ones arrived on the same day. So it is possible it is a shipping delay at the post office. I hope that it does sort itself out for you!

Do you have a tracking number so you can look up where your package went?

I wouldn't panic just yet unless you do think that you sent them to someone else.  I am going to assume they were sent First Class as you did not mention a tracking number.  Do you still have your receipt? If so it should have the city/town where you sent your items to.  A quick look at that and you can see if your destinations match up with the address's you have on hand or if you have a repeat destination by chance.  Just a thought???

But it could also just be the PO, because as of late there seems to be a lot of horror stories concerning them.

I'm so sorry Dragonlady!  My local post office in Haverhill MA told me that mail is slower because of cut backs and changes to postal routes.  Even though I live no where near Bradford, my mail has been rerouted through their office!  So anytime I miss a package, I have to drive past the Haverhill office to the Bradford office to claim it:(  It's so strange. 
 Hopefully they will show up today or tomorrow.  I'm sorry this is happening to you, I wish there was something I could do to help.

Hopefully it is just due to the mail being slow   since its only been a week I would try not to worry just yet (easier said than done of course ). Sometimes I've had items arrive 2-3 weeks late even though they should have made it within 1-3 days of sending

Apparently the ponies were taking in the fall foliage on their way down but have finally arrived at my trade partner's house, yay! Thanks for everyone's help
