Yeah, dripping HOT conditioner onto your leg while flat-ironing is not an experience I like repeating all that often...
This actually terrifies me!!! I'm a tad scared of getting anything heated near my little ladies and gent. I'm sure I'd be burning myself more than them.
Thanks though for the directions. I'm deff gonna try. The tail was in good condition, no rust or anything so it should be just a simple case of putting it back.

As for other accidents I can't remember any. But that is probably because I'm too scared of doing anything other than washing and brushing my ponies XD I just know I will screw up and have them come out worse than they were to begin with if I attempted something else :P

I'm in this camp too, I get scared just washing them! :scared:

Luckily I'm seeing the funny side to her tail popping right out. She was the last of the group to go so it didn't put me off.

Hmmmm I've decapitated a few ponies that refused to let the neck plugs go. That's ok super glue fixes all....hmm one pony using acetone to get glitter nail polish away from her eyes my hand slipped. I got her eyelashes. Oh well I just did it on the other side and now she's even...little freaky looking.

Hmmm...I sunfaded Mimic's leg white to remove unremoveable pindot (duh)so now she looks like she has a "sock"...I've melted white hair on a G3...accidentally removed Forget-Me-Not's right eye with acetone...and just yesterday I dunked Baby Fifi (dirty, yet minty) into a warm Oxyclean bath, swished her around a couple times, pulled her out and GASP! - SYMBOLS GONE!

Sunfading a white Princess Rinse & Spit gave her a bright pink butt.  Trying a FBR now.  Maybe neon pink flowers?

Nothing too serious yet. I did clean a MGR Brilliant Blossom the other day and brushed out her tail and a bunch of yellow hair was on the brush afterwards 00. Guess the factory didn't fasten the metal clip on her tail good enough.
