help with Seaside baby's hair
« on: September 05, 2012, 10:44:09 PM »
I didn't notice that a stray early morning sunbeam was falling on my Seaside Baby until it was too late.  Part of her color changing streak was exposed to bright light, and now it's not changing back.      I stuck her in a dark closet for a week, but it didn't work.  Any suggestions?  Would sticking her in the refrigerator help?

Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

Sometimes the hair can "lock" in one colour or the other or a shade between them. It can be quite common with this set. Its similar to how it happens with the Watercolour babies. Unfortunately when that happens its usually a result of the hair being "done" and you wont be able to change it back as the chemical which allows for the colour change in the hair is breaking down or burned out.

They are such an adorable set though - congrats on having them in your collection and sorry I cant offer a solution :(
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I would try cold water and see if it helps. But Hathor might be right, it might be stuck that way :(

I have one with hair stuck on the colour, again I think its really common. I dont mind it at all as they still look pretty and its still part of the original hair colour when you think about it.
