Ebay Seller Help - Am I being impatient?

On Tuesday morning I won an auction for a pony & paid as soon as it was over.
Wednesday I checked and it wasn't marked as shipped. I checked the auction and it said it would ship in 3 days.
Thursday I contacted the seller and asked when the pony would be shipped and she said she would put it in the mail that day.
Now it's Friday evening and it's still not marked as shipped. I've never had an issue and wonder if I am just being impatient... In contrast, I won another pony at the same time and it arrived yesterday.  :huh:

So, I while I may be being impatient now, but when should I start getting worried that it's not actually going to come?

Well, when you count shipping days you don't count the same day that you paid. You would have started counting by Wednesday if you paid on Tuesday (although this is if you paid during business hours). 

But if she said she shipped it then yeah it's weird that you didn't get the tracking number. I would just ask again. Sometime along the lines of "Hi, do you have tracking number for the package you shipped out yesterday?"

Sometimes sellers ship without tracking. That drives me crazy.  I bought something a week ago and it was just posted today.  I bought something 4 days ago and it was only marked as "shipped" with no tracking number.  This could just be a seller that doesn't want to upload tracking numbers..which will be a problem with their seller account eventually.   I usually worry after over a week goes by and nothing shows it was shipped.  I think its still a little early yet, maybe she did ship it but never marked it shipped and didn't give you tracking...I agree that you could ask for the tracking number at least to find out what might be going on...

:hug:  its always frustrating when sellers ship later than you expect.  Unfortunately there are also some sellers that  dont even bother to mark the item as shipped , and you dont know if/when they've shipped until the item shows up. Its a pain :yikes:    You have 45 days to open a case  and get your monies back if the item doesnt show. Hopefully it will turn up long before then , but just incase it doesnt, keep that in mind ;)  I would leave it until Monday now (since a lot of people arent online as much over the weekend), and then send another message asking the seller to confirm when the item was sent

that is the main trouble i have out of ebay, either the sellers take forever to ship it, or they ship it and never mark it as shipped until i email them and ask them if they have shipped it or not .
i won an auction of pony trading cards 4 days ago, no contact from seller and i  emailed him yesterday and he still has not contacted me or marked them as shipped! starting to get worried

If there is no communication you can always share the ID with the community in case others want to avoid that kind of behavior.  :(  *pony hugs*

This happened to me as well -_- I always tend to add a tracking number when shipping packages just for peace of mine but with one I just ordered from a seller had said it was shipped last Monday and should be here Thurs. Then yesterday being Friday I ask if there was any tracking # or if they had right address getting worried because no pony. Luckily they e-mailed me tonight with one saying they just were overworked and late on sending but yeah.

Very stressful though best of luck I hope it works itself out soon :(
