But they are huge. They don't connect with other Mega Blocks or Lego Duplos very well. I would have bought them if they did!

Do you mean the ponies are huge and don't connect with the blocks they come with?   or that this "class" of megabloks are huge? I hope the ponies fit with the blocks, but maybe they don't?  If it's the latter, yeah I agree they are biggish, we have a whole cardboard box of these size.  The nice thing is that our kids can make something big really quick.... though they are gravitating to regular Legos lately.

They look like they only fit with the blocks that come with them. Megabloks have a "class" that fits with Lego Duplos. We have those already since we also have Duplos. Then Megabloks have another "class" that fits with regular-sized Legos too (Halo.)

I stood at TRU comparing the different sizes of Megabloks really wanting them to work because I wanted to get the sets. My daughter loves anything pony. We ended up getting the Lego Duplo set with Cinderella because it had a horse.
