Extension Agents

Hi all! I am preparing for an interview for a job as an extension agent. I have a degree in Animal Dairy Science and the position is Agriculture/ Livestock and 4H related. I would love to talk with those who are extension agents, even if your fields are different! I would love to know all about what you do within your position, the pros and cons, anything. If you know members on here that are extension agents, I would love for you to let me know so I can PM them.

Thanks! I'm having to present a power point and I'm Much more worried about that then if I were to just sit down and talk to the interviewers

You will be find, just take a deep breath and pretend they are not there.  By us extension agents do more with farming/greenhouses then animals.

A lovely agent in a different county is allowing me to present my power point to her before the actual interview for critiques and my nerves! I'll have to buy her a fruit basket or something I think, Lol!

No but hubby works with some from Cornell Cooperative in his job position as a grower at a major green house.

That is great they are letting you try it out on them.

Oh, I see. Do you think he would have any input about working with them? Such as what he has really liked/ disliked?
