Oh and of course my lolita brand clothing, people don't like seeing you in cute dresses when they know they cost more than $300 apparently. I still feel bad about that time oh man, bad memories.

You just can't win with lolita... if you buy brand or indie stuff and your family finds out, it's a "$400 DRESS?!", but if you buy replica it's a cardinal sin in some communities >_> I couldn't possibly hope to afford brand most of the time, but I'd love to get something secondhand for relatively cheap, almost solely because I'm curious about what it's like to wear really expensive, well made lolita.  Most of what I have is pretty low end because of my dolly addiction eating up free cash P: and I sew, like, a lot, so I'm kind of hyper-sensitive to badly made clothes...

I wouldn't mind buying replica's as long as they're of a good quality. Then again, I'm one of those people who dislike getting ''fakes'' (or pirate!) and always want the original. It's the reason I have so much DS games, I guess. xD!

There was a replica I once saw, that I really liked! I keep forgetting the name, but it was a black dress with stars and comets on it if I'm not mistaken.. The original jsk didn't come in black, so that's why I wanted it.

If layaway is available, I usually take it. It makes buying a costly doll a lot easier to handle when I can just pay 50$ a month on that... Instead of it going to junk food and DVDs.
