So here we have Moon and Sunset. Moon is a sailor who spends all his time on the water, and Sunset is a MerMare. She and Moon are in love, but Ponies with MerMares are frowned upon. The only way Moon can see his love is to sail out for 7 days and meet Sunset. Sunset cannot go on land so that makes it even more difficult.

I love them and their story.  Sunset's fins are super cool, it's a fun new take on merponies/seaponies.  And of course, I am always a fan of polkadots on ponies.

They look really cool in the FiM style!  I actually really like the new colors too, even if they aren't exactly what you had in your ref.
