Should I move? What's great about CO?

I don't have much advice to offer but I can relate to the boredom of the midwest, being from the St. Louis area myself. We live in a very bland area and sadly St. Louis has a lot of crime too.
And our humidity....OMG!!

I have been to Colorado and it's stunning. I've also seen mountains in Montana and Wyoming that are just gorgeous (the Tetans being one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life).

Like you, my entire family is in the Midwest. I am very close to them and I would hate to leave them. But my desire is to move near the coast in the distant future. I adore the ocean and would like nothing better than to be able to walk along the shore and swim in its waters every day!
When I went to Florida for vacation back in May, I almost cried when we had to leave. I'm almost always ready to go home at the end of a vacation but I didn't want to leave the ocean....

I can see where you are torn with your decision. I hope whatever you decide to do works out for you.
