PC on damaged Alitas Sunglider

Hi there,

I have never done a price check before, so here we go!  I recently bought a NM Alitas Sunglider on ebay, but when she arrived her wings were broken off.  I feel awful, but want to ensure that this situation is resolved fairly.  To do that I was hoping that you guys might be able to estimate how much a NM Alitas Sunglider without wings would cost.  I figure you guys would be pretty unbiased in this situation. 

I am attempting to include a photo, but am having difficulties.  The pony has a few small rubs here and there, but overall I would say that she is almost NM - I mean besides her wings. 

What do you think?  What's a fair price?

From the ones I see that come up on buy it now from Argentina without wings I would estimate she would be worth $45-55 dollars without her wings, poor little dear!

Aw what a shame Wingers have to be packaged so well and I think a lot of sellers dont realise..

Id agree with S Flame on her price estimate..you could glue that left hand wing back in but its hard to tell with the other one it looks too damaged

Is she the one that sold for $200?!  Oh no, my heart literally just broke hunny.  I know how much you wanted one, this is just so terrible. 
As far as a price goes, she has both wings which believe it or not, is a good thing as we can try to fix her!  I've paid anywhere from $35 to $65 for my Alitas, including a damaged MOC one.  Actually it was me who bought the eBay Alitas, but they were all in HORRIBLE condition.  However in your case, where she was so expensive, I would assess everything about her; hair, body cutie marks for any other damage.  Alitas Sunglider, to me, seems really prone to hair frizziness; more so than the other 3 Argies.  If her hair is silky, then she is worth more.  I'd say a realistic price that would be fair to both parties would be between $65 and $80 for her IF she really is near mint. 
Message me sweetie, we can talk about how to fix the wings, I had one snap off my Alitas Sunglider too...but I was able to fix it.  I'm so incredibly sorry to hear this happened to you.  Seeing her with her wings off makes me so insanely sad for you.  The seller is fantastic too, and I'm really shocked that this happened.  But don't despair hunny, we can at least try to fix her if you plan on keeping her!!  Pony hugs to you my dear, I can't imagine how hard it must of been for you to see her like that:(.

Hey Michelle!

Why yes, there is an update.  The seller has been really great - I think she was devastated, too.  I decided I wanted to keep her, so I am just going to get a partial refund.  Since I have to go to work everyday and get home really tired I have put off attempting to glue her wings back on until this weekend after a good, long nights rest, so I don't mess it up...I am sure after this weekend I will have great superglue stories as no matter what I try to do it somehow gets everywhere and I get stuck to everything. 

I'll let you know how she looks if this goes successful, if not then I will be in the market for some wing replacements.
