The Cat and the Caterpillar

WaePonies and I like to work on ponies together and she encouraged me to post pictures of some customs that I've made. Here are Cheshire Cat and the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland. They are both made from G1 Bow Tie baits. Chesh's hair is deceptively soft, and I haven't styled their tails.

I sculpted claws, fangs and 'MAD' onto Chesh, and I have stylised Cheshire Cats grinning on a tree and disappearing amidst hearts, spades, clubs, diamonds, keys and keyholes. This design is supposed to be a little crazy, so is scrawled and hazy in places whilst being sharp in others.

I was more reserved with Caterpillar's design, as he thinks that he's logical. The lettering is stylised to resemble clouds, and the mane is similarly styled.

Love the Caterpillar painting and the mouth on the Cheshire cat pony! She looks both creepy and cute at the same time. I like the original style, it fits the odd atmosphere of the Wonderland perfectly.
