FS Canterlot Luna and Celestia on Clearance at Target

I stopped by Target on Saturday and found the Target Exclusive 2 pack with FS Luna and Celestia for $19, which is about $10 off.  Just thought I would let everyone know in case they've waited for sales, like I do!

edit... just checked online... still $29.  bugs me when the online price is different...

It figures they would put them on clearance two days after I buy them, LOL. Maybe I can get a price adjustment if I bring in my receipt.

Also hope this means they are making room for new ponies!!!

Don't their sales run from Sunday to Saturday? Which means if you saw them on sale Saturday, then they wouldn't be on sale now and haven't been since Saturday.

I'm sure they'll put them on Clearance soon, though. They'll be doing the toy reset and putting out all the new stuff (which includes the Crystal Empire items) towards the end of July and I'm pretty sure they clear out older stuff before then. I know last year when some of the Canterlot stuff started showing up at Target, I checked my local store but they hadn't done the reset yet, but the toy aisles were pretty bare at that point and most of the stuff was marked down. I'm sure it will end up being the same this year with a few people in a few lucky stores finding things early. I know I had to go to the store with DCPI numbers in hand and have an employee go in back and get the stuff I wanted for me since most of it wasn't on the floor at that point.

ill have to go have another look cause my local target has a HUGE amount of those...if they go on clearance ill be all over getting them

I was at Target today, and they also have the two big "castle" sets on clearance (the ones with tons of accessories) as well as the shine bright singles.

From what I noticed, most of the Canterlot stuff was on clearance to make room for the wedding stuff. I wish I'd paid better attention now- but I only collect the FS size.

Woo hoo! Sales! Pony clearance is good for 2 things - cheap ponies and potential space for new ponies! Win win [unless like me you have normally already purchased sales ponies at full price ]

Most likely means that they're clearing out the Canterlot stuff to make way for the Pony Wedding stuff. Which is good news, probably means the Canterlot stuff are going on shelves in the US early
