G1 Stitch and Color (?) Cards featuring Brush 'n Grows

I found these cute things in one of my storage boxes and wanted to know if anyone else recognizes what they are  They're 7-10" tall cardboard cards, copyright date 1989, with images of Braided Beauty, Twisty Tail, Pretty Vision and Curly Locks.

That oh-so-masterful coloring and yarn-stitching job must be mine, but I actually can't remember making them when I was a kid  Did anyone else have these or something like them?

OMG! I didn't have pony versions of these, but I remember this type of craft! How nostalgic

Yes!    Blast from the past. I think I remember there being Care Bears ones too... maybe a friend had those and I was jealous?

I didn't have MLP versions of these either but I distinctly recall having Disney ones when I was probably Isix.

I have seen them before but not Brush n Grow ones - these are new on me! All the ones I have seen are earlier ponies. These are so cute! And as a kid your colour matching was fantastic!

So CUTE!  I had the early years of ponies sewing cards - Medley, Lemon Drop, and I thiiiiiiink Peachy and Cotton Candy and Blossom.  My mom probably has them packed in her baby memorabilia though.

Aw, I'd love to see Disney ones! And earlier ponies *squee* Collectors' pose must look SO cute. I need to google "sewing cards"--I was trying with "stitching" and kept coming up with cross-stitch!
