Has anyone tried doing Butterfly wings for ponies like this?

So I just logged onto youtube to listen to some music when on the side that suggest videos based off of what you've watched, liked, etc. I noticed a kind of tutorial for doing butterfly wings for costumes. Now granted I love Pop's tutorial for butterfly wings but for some people this might work if you can get the transparency sheets...

Yeah it took me a few watches to fully understand it myself, then thinking about how to modify it for doing ponies
