So what WAS the deal with Kimono's original charm bracelet?

Well it obviously didn't have her name on it or somepony would've found it and given it back.

I dunno if they would return it, honestly....those ponies are sneaky, I tell ya.  Especially Pinkie Pie.  It's the quiet, "friendly" ones that you gotta watch out for

Kimono was always so much wiser than the other ponies. I imagine she said, "The artifact is gone! There was a powerful charm on that bracelet... if it falls into the wrong hooves... all hope will be lost."


And Minty said, "Poor Kimono! You must have loved your special bracelet a whole awful lot!"


And Kimono just kind of sighed and was like, "Uh... sure. That's right."


She still found their efforts to make her a new one really touching, though.

So basically it was as if Frodo lost the One Ring from Lord of The Rings and then Pippin and Merry chipped in to buy him a new one from a street vendor?

She was messing with them.

I just watched that episode.  After the ponies celebrate figuring out they should make one bracelet, I was half expecting them to cut to King Arthur from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
